Thank you everyone guys for the honest answers. Your honestly is far from obvious.
I really appreciate you're being able to come out and speak frankly about the implications of the decision to lengthen.

I is still hard through to exactly grasp the meaning of the outcome it brings before you actually do the surgery.
I kind of only imagine myself a bit slower and bit weaker, but I honestly don't know if I imagine it "as I should have" when trying to guess how it might feel afterwards (in order to decide if it should be right decision for me, and it's a tough one).

I should say that I was never on a competition level to begin with, and since most people who don't do aggressive sports (without complications) claim they just got back to their daily lives, can jog a bit and continue lifting weights at the gym,
so it's really difficult for me to understand to what level surgery could negatively impact me in way that potentially would bother me.

To me, it is ok as long as i can walk and slow jog, up and down stairs, hiking, cycling and no chronic pains.
The different i feel - lack of powers in speeding, jumping high but i m happy with my height and better body proportion.

That guy in the video is a joke TBH. Dude was 5'11 morning height and instead of fixing his hair or physique, decided to lengthen his tibia with the worst method possible (monolateral fixators) to gain 2 inches of height.

He was also fked up getting clavicle lengthening surgery with Eppley. Said in one of his videos that the left clavicle simply popped out of alignment and now suffers with shoulder mobility issues.

Also did facial reconstructive surgery with some Indian surgeon and got fked up with that too. Didn't get the result he anticipated.

IMO he should have focused all his money and effort fixing his hair and face and not bother with limb lengthening and clavicle lengthening.

He did get all those surgeries just to look like Erdogan LOL

I've never had an operation in my life and I'm very afraid of general anesthesia, although it's better to go asleep during the surgery rather than being awake and aware of how surgeons are operating on your legs. I'm afraid that when I get knocked down, I will never wake up again, i.e. die in deep sleep.
You will wake up cos the hospital and Anesthesiologists will perform Pre-Surgery test to tailor the dose for you.
All surgeries will have risk, no one can tell you it is zero risk.
If you have no courage or intense fear, i think it is better not to do it.
Accept and love yourself.

Growth plates may not be fused. Wait a few more years.

If I was him I'd buy some HGH injections instead lol that would get him to grow til 1.78 probably

Invest and let money grows money.
I have witnessed a lot of young millionaire at age of 20s.

He better invest that money and wait 2 more years to make a profitable amount to get the surgery in his early 20's

I’m planning on doing this surgery as soon as I turn 18 in June. I already have saved a fairly big amount but probably not enough to reach my goal to go from 176cm to 190cm (14cm). Thats why I wanna take a loan to do this surgery and I was wondering if anybody else has a similar plan or already have had such a experience, please share your story

1.-Which country are you from?
2.-How the heck did you manage to save that amount of money without working??
3.-Where will you get the surgery?

That passing out moment is also scary to me. Does it happen instantaneously? Like, you're awake but suddenly knock out without even realizing it? The thing is you're aware that you're gonna pass out in a couple of seconds and that's what terrifies me.

Keep believing that when you become 5'11 75% of women will accept you.

At 5'8 if a man has decent physique and is very handsome, he can have much better dating life than average looking, narrow framed 6 footer.

I did the surgery through them on March 14th LOE for tibia and precise2 for femur and I am living in the hotel now lengthening my legs. Will finish lengthening on May 31st. They are very professional, always care about me and visit me frequently. My surgery was successful and I am in my last period of lengthening. I am very positive about everything and look forward to take off the fixator on my legs on June 7th. If you have any question you can email me at 1906455057@qq.com :)

I bet that if a man at 5'8-5'9 range is unable to attract women, he won't be able to attract them at any height above it.

It's not a matter of your faith, fool, but of scientific research.

There is a study that checks that if the only factor was height, a guy with a height of 170 has 25% acceptance (3/4 of women will reject him), while a man with a height of 180 will have about 75% acceptance (1/4 of women will only reject him).

So I don't give a damn about your faith. Research counts.
