Hey guys I have a consultation with dr paley tomorrow over zoom. Any questions you guys want me to ask? My main question is going to be about a weight bearing nail.

1. What are some common lengthening rate strategies for precise 2.2 tibias when someone is having calves/achilles tendon flexibility issues?

2. Ex: is slowing down to like 0.5 or even 0.33 mm per day or even 0.25 mm per day for precise 2.2 tibias realistic (as a strategy to deal with ballerina foot after doing a few cm) or for most people would that just result in premature consolidation for most people?

3. What are some actions patients do that can increase or decrease the risk of getting compartment syndrome for precise 2.2 tibias?

Is 3.5 inches same on the femur?
Can you do femur and tibia at the same time?
How long is the usual recovery process?

What are you going to ask about weight bearing nails? Unless you want the older style twist and click there is nothing coming out for at least a year maybe 2.

During physical therapy for precise 2.2 tibias, is it safe for the physical therapists to stretch your hamstrings also?

I heard stretching hamstrings during tibia LL (even though hamstrings are on your upper instead of lower leg) feels good because the hamstrings are partially connected to the calves.

The concern I have is that the tibia bone is so close to the skin that it seems easy for the physical therapist to inadvertently touch the skin just over the tibia gap/callus when attempting a hamstring stretch if he is not thinking about it
