Can we lengthen 9cm for femurs ?
-
If your body and the method you use allow it, yeah. You won’t be able to do it if you go with precice or stryde, since they have a limit set on 8cm.

okay thank you

Betzbone

The real problem is not the method. (lon, precice, stryde etc.)
It is how many cm your body will allow.
8 cm for femur and 5 cm for tibia are ideal values for health. (max values)

there is no ideal. it is different from case to case. there were people that could barely do 3cm.
most people manage to do around 5cm on tibias and 7cm on femur.

Precice and stryde method is the real problem, it is a mechanical limit. The nail will not extend more than 80mm. It is bounded by the hardware.

An average healthy human being should be able to do 8cm, anything past that requires a lot more physiotherapy and dedication but it is doable.
Those who cannot do more than 3cm are just afraid or have extremely low pain tolerance.
