I noticed that in the morning I'm 172.5cm and in the night before I go to bed I'm 169cm (sometimes 168.5cm), i measured myself many many times so there is no error in the mesauraments, in fact the mesaurament from the doctors have always been different trough the time (in order from when i was 14 to now: 170cm, 171cm, 168cm, 169cm, 170cm). So, i would like to know if there is one method to reduce the decrease of height. I'm a smoker (but I am about to quit to do LL in the future) and I study all day (so my posture isn't that good), maybe if I start swimming at the pool can help me? I remember that when i was 16 and I did 1 year of swimming my mother mesaure myself and find out i was 172cm in the afternoon. So if you have any suggestments let me know, for me even be 172cm would be good because with shoes lifts I can easily arrive to 178cm (my ideal height).

Which exercises i have to do? Swimming is ok or i have to do pull ups?

This is natural. Everyone goes through this during the day. Although 172.5 to 168.5 sounds a bit too much at this height. I usually go down 0.9-1inch at starting height about 167.6cm after full day and workout/lifting. But am mostly around 166-166.5 cm in the afternoon/evening without much activity.
Improving the posture, proper hydrations, strengthening the back muscles might help in reducing the overall decrease.

But, if you will stop smoking in case it does, then I'm gonna say yes :P

It increases or decreases by a maximum of 1 cm during the day. Doing yoga and swimming opens the spine, but it closes after a short time. This increase is very short and not permanent.
