I go on amazon, wheelchairs look like they are around 110$ +

I could go used wheelchair to try to cut costs, afraid of covid from another person though. Where might be good to get one?

And in my Mom's basement where I live, it is extremely crowded because of her hoarding disorder so there is not much room to maneuver the wheelchair but I think a wheelchair can fit still in certain areas, ex: bathroom and just outside the bathroom

What is your advice for these things?

Cutting costs at a purged wheelchair is not an viable option unless you wanna be Covidized through your ass and Covid will contaminate your immune system.
Also you can get rid of the wheelchair in 1-2 months after surgery so you can consider the accommadations nearby or just provided by surgeons.
There is just random chance that you'll demand a wheelchair or just crutch.

1) You should get a wheelchair during your hospital stay

2) You should not practice living on a wheelchair because it leads to muscle atrophy, and shortened ITB and hip flexors. Your doctor will advise you to do everything but sitting, as it's the least stretched position you can be in. And you need to STRETCH during LL.
