Smoking
« on: November 16, 2019, 04:05:46 AM »

I’m 6 months post op and I was wondering if it’s ok to get back to smoking ecigs once I’m allowed to walk without crutches (full weight bearing). Or would it cause any complications and if it would explain please?

Hey Nino - Frankly speaking you have to stay away from nicotine until you are 100 percent consolidated and your soft tissue is healed, otherwise you risk improper healing of the bone or other areas.

doesn’t it just delay the time it takes to recover?

Can delay, and even prevent full healing.

We cant look at this like a process that just slows down, it needs full oxygen and blood flow to be successful. Its an all or nothing kind of gig. Just lay off of them for another 6 months.

Lower NIc levels to 1.5 mix a 3 and a 1MG..

And do not even think about going back untill you are FULLY consolidated. I am saying this for your own good buddy. I want to see people succeed.

Want taller - i know its the NIC, and a few other incredients on the cigs.. you are going to want to google risks on bones for MJ. Betters safe than sorry my man.

are you a loser? do you want to think of yourself as a loser? if yes then fine go back to smoking, if not then don't say words like 'I am not capable of quitting'. Everybody is capable of everything, from a point where my father could not give me any money for my studies (I come from that poor a family in a village in India, and my father, just like you was one with loser mentality who ran away from his duties and destroyed my grandfathers thriving business and brought us down to poverty) , I rose to do a full free engineering in India and full free MBA in US and then earn $165k a year in USA by mental strength, hard work and fight - I made it from scratch, from nothing, my sister did the same she fought with life and is well established now. You can do anything if you want to, if you want to be a loser, then of course go ahead and buy a pack and puff away or else man up and fight it. Anyway, it is last reply from me - your life, your decision, do as you wish. bye.

Don't be retarded. Don't smoke at all during LL - either during distraction or consolidation. You could have non-union because of it. Smoking is horrible for bone consolidation and callus formation - ask any good doctor.

Please no need to be aggressive or insult people here, I just want information regarding smoking and consolidation. Don’t understand why people tend to be hostile when it comes to this subject

Because it's one of the most stupid things you could do during LL.
You are asking for non-union if you smoke during stretching or consolidation.
