Title: Would it be ok if your childhood adored superheroes aren't tall?
Post by: ilovescience on September 12, 2021, 01:49:36 PM
Everyone adored superheroes, or even super villains, when they watched cartoons and stuffs, as they grew up.

However, some characters were designed short, others average or tall.

Wolverine, for example, were listed 5'5 tall, but he got quickness and suepr fast healing. I loved seeing how he worked his way through the journey, with his big claws of course. However, the real Wolverine in X-Men movies was coming from a tall man named Jack.

I also like Spiderman, he is designed as a tall skinny boy who wants to save New York city from bad guys. I like the new actor named Tom Holland, who is the new Hollywood Spiderman. However, I read some comments that some people were bothered by his height, because they felt that Tom is not exactly 5'8 tall, different from what reports listed. Some think he is 5'7 and others suggest he might be a little bit shorter than 5'7, which means he's about 5'6 at most. Nevertheless, he looks good in Spiderman suit.

I won't be bothered by the height when I adore superheroes, as long as their adventures bring meanings to the shows.

The heights of fictional characters don't matter at all to me.

They are fictional! Indeed!

But many kids look up to those heroes in the cartoons or movies as they grow up.
