Lengthening mockups and proportion review
« on: January 01, 2022, 09:13:54 AM »

I'm looking to undergo leg lengthening within the next year or two, I believe I would require both segments to meet my goal of 178cm. Currently I'm 169. However, I read a couple of diaries where the patients were severely unhappy with their proportions and ended up doing arm lengthening as well. I made a series of mock-ups with different lengthening options I am thinking about at the moment. Any feedback would be helpful from a second set of eyes.

You're about 5'7. Are you boy or girl? That height is tall for girl

169 is a decent height in some countries and not far away from the average in the West.

That 8cm femur looks just good. It´s possible you even dont reach full 8cm, maybe you have to stop to 6 or 7cm.

So my advice is, do first femur and try to get so close 8cm as possible. If you are still unhappy with your height (lets say like 1-2 year later) then consider lengthening tibia.

I prefer the 174cm and 177cm if we just talk about proportion. Height matters more than proportion though.
