Tibia for sure. They are already a bit off proportion, so you could reach a great natural result.
In addition you can save a lot of money going for external, still very safe for tibia lengthening.

Hi Sai,
Tibia will be a good choice if you are ok with 5-6cm.
But ask your doctor, if the femur is possible to get the maximum length.
Which doc are you choosing for the surgery? Make sure you do enough analysis before choosing the tibia by internal nail because people say nailing knees is not a wise choice.

I lenghtened my femur 6cm and still don't have a so low tibia/femur ratio.
A lenghtening in the femur, expecially going for 7-8, is to be avoided in this situation.

I agree with Tartar...What is your current height and your femur/tibia ratio?

go tibia but 5cm is a lot might get crippled :-X

Where is evidence of this? You should post some sources if you say people get crippled at 5cm in tibs with stryde.

tibia pure external is the way to go!! :)
