Which method needs the most X-rays and which one the least? Where is low radiological and/or ultrasonic exposure?
-
so nobody knows any information about that ? :'(
maybe someone of the patients who already had a surgery please?
-
most xrays follow-up are frequently every 2 or 3 weeks
-
internal or external?
-
both methods, and I did not worry about radiation exposure, the doses are low enough, In fact, maybe they give a net benefit (Radiation hormesis)

Last time i took x-rays they took like 10 photos. Isnt that quite alot at the same time? Im thinking of the radiation
-
10 pics at ones? Holy sh thats much. Of course radiation today ist not so high anymore but the risk increases with every xray a little bit more. And during limb lengthening, both femur and tibias it all adds up to a lot in quite short period
-
I had X-rays every 3 weeks .

Plain film x-rays are not a concern in terms of radiation. They amount to about a week's exposure of natural background radiation each, taking a few days off that, in certain cases.
CT scans are the ones that can amount to the equivalent of many years of background radiation exposure.
