Ratio calculation (max ratio value)
« on: September 04, 2019, 04:25:46 PM »

hi,

Ratio:
tibia / femur = 0.8  means tibia = 0.8 * femur, so tibia = 80% of femur
femur / tibia = 1.2 means femur = 1.2 * tibia, so femur = 120% of tibia

This is the average calculation that everyone knows.

for example femur - tibia = 0.8 - max?

What is the maximum value for healthy?

Thanks.

I think 0.6 is too low.

Nobody knows the min and max values?

To maintain aesthetics and good functional recovery, one's tibiae should be with in 70-90% of the femur length. This is the MAXIMUM, ideally its better to stay between 75-85% of femur length.
