Tibia lengthening athletic ability - shoe size?

Hi,

I was wondering after reading member Sweden's posts, where he recommends no more than 5 to 5.5cm in tibias, to keep athletic ability after LL. I was wondering if feet size has anything to do with it, if anyone knows anything about it please point me in the right direction (articles, references, etc). I don't know what Sweden's feet size is, but would it make a difference in post op athletic ability if you were taller, but still had smaller feet, ex. 5'11 with size 8 feet.
