Well, better to read old forum makes me taller
There’s guy from USA having severe complications with Salameh
Not being able to work for 2years or even more

If you are Chinese I strongly recommend Dr Lee even if you want to do pure ilizarov
He is very experienced with our tibias
https://drdonghoon.com/?lang=en

I warn here because I’ve been in touch with just too many complication cases of CLL
I really hope no one suffere from it

Actually I have read 12 dairy of him but  I found everyone is satisfied with the result even very dangerous 9cm (which I don't Recommaned ) While I think anyone with 9cm lengthening in tibia would surely need 2year to go back life no matter whether having nail or not.
Yes I am Chinese have worked in Japan until this year.
Thanks for you advice I think Dr.Lee is good for Styade in femur but if choosing pure external,  within 6.5cm(safe in Dr Salamh cases)would be much easier to come back life without making trouble.
Thanks you

Less is more.
Maybe one cm up or down could not change your appearance.
But one cm more is definitely do harm to joint than one cm less.

Besides the guy who cannot work for 2years,
In diaries of Salameh other case even had knee pain problem and diaries were not continued
It’s dangerous to assume everyone went well, certainly there were complications

People tend to be blind and interpret things in ones favor when they want something so desperate
In case of CLL that kind of mentality is dangerous
Deep research is needed before choosing a doctor

Well I’ve done enough warning anyways

Please show some proof if you say a doctor is not safe.
Everyone in this forum need truth and proof to do the big surgery.
As for the knee pain I read all of the dairy and seach for "knee" and "knee pain" in his diary. Nobody say about it. Proof is

As for 2 year no working, the patient did not complain the doctor because he choose the lengthening goal. If you say the patient is not satisfied with the result please show us the user name.

But what you said is really right, before choosing a doctor everyone need deep search. But I just confused actually do not see the bad case of him. So if possible could you tell me the bad case user name? Thanks you

Raku's point is serious

What if you have evidence or you know something

You should share it here

To remind those who are interested in the doctor

Links to Make me taller forum become broken when putting here
If you are really serious about CLL it’s your responsibility to do research and read at least all diaries by yourself

If i go for tibias, I prefer full external ilizarov frames. If I go for femurs, I prefer STRYDE.

Yes internal for femur. External for Tibia.

I keep reading here and there, now and then about the (apparently) higher possibility of nerve damage resulting in permanent knee pain for internal and LATN compared to pure external (for tibia), but have never heard anything conclusive some say there is statistical and/or empirical proof some say it is BS, can anybody provide some thorough and detailed guidance? thank you so much.

According to Dr. Yasser in Cyprus,
he offers and his thoughts on the knee problem issue with LON/LATN/internal tibias and this was his reply.

"Yes, Precise 2. I do in my center in Cyprus as it is not available yet outside USA and
You are right about pain after tibial nailing, however, my master degree was about that and I personally do not split the patellar tendon at all to introduce the nail to avoid this chronic pain problem. I remove it laterally using a special tool till I introduce the nail then return it again to its place. Generally, I like more external for tibia while more internal for Femoral bone."

Dr. Parihar, expert in tibia construction, would also prefer pure external than internal tibia. If using Precice nail he would do it in femur.

Quote https://sites.google.com/site/cllrpatients/faqs/cosmeticlengthening

Dr. Franz also said about 15% knee pain chance with Lon/Latn/Internal In tibia. It could be found in Dr. Franz post in this forum.

Dr. Yasser worked with Dr. Paley and Dr. Catagni for many years, which could be found in Wikipedia And Dr. Li and Dr. Parihar just took part in Dr. Paley' training for 1year.
