How long should the tibia be for average ?
-
1 meter, you'll be Shaq.
Silly question.

That's not a silly question.
How long is the average male tibia bone?
I often compare my knee height when I sit next to people and wonder at what length would my tibias would look too long.
-
What is average to you? Which group of people are you comparing to? We're not all built the same.
-
Average tibia length is 43.03 cm (about 17 inches).

Maybe I could have said what is the average adult male tibia bone of US residents.
Thank you Kilokahn!

Mine is now 18 inches after LL. Interesting.

Hey MDOW,
How does the length of your tibias compare to someone around your height?
Is it very noticeable that your knees are higher when you sit next to someone?
-
They're quite a bit longer than other people of my height. I suppose the average natural 5'10 person would have 16 inch tibiae compared to my 18". My knees do look high compared to others, but not so high it looks weird or anything. I actually like my knee height and long tibiae; it's an attractive look.
