Y'all are older than me, could you please give me some advices lol. What would be the best choice of a profession? I literally cannot decide. I'm into music, but you can't make money from it easily, it's risky. I love chemistry, biology, i'd love to be a genetic engineer but i'm from Turkey and government doesn't even care about science.

So my mind is kinda fked. I don't know what to do..

I'm thinking about being a mechanic eng. or a psychiatrist, lastly: computer eng.

Search about universities at another countries, like: Japan, USA, Germany, UK, Canda, New Zeland, etc.
Countries like NZ and Canada are very welcome to foreigns!
Check at scholarships, and fees too! I know chinese univercities have good scholarships. And also some countries like Japan have the "MEXT" program, which you need to look for it at embassey from that country at your country. So just visit the consulates websites from other contries at Turkey.
I recomend being a doctor, but be advised that it's hard to validate your diploma at another country, so I recommend that you do the Medical university at the country you wanna live in

Software engineer at a massive tech firm.  Hoping to get promoted again and then break into management next year.  Pretty much the only field and firm that enabled me to do this (extremely high pay + 40 hour work week entirely from home)

A lot of software engineers here.

I would recommend either legal, financial or medical disciplines. If you're any good you should be able to get to >200k fairly quickly after qualifying. Those qualifications set you up for life and most of the jobs are immune from AI. Any AI encroachment will probably lead to more roles and better pay for the highly qualified people in those disciplines

Well, at the moment, I'm an apprentice cabinet maker.

But, I'm wanting to change over to either being an electrical engineer or some type of STEM degree that pays six figures. However, I have an average IQ so, I will probably need to work much harder towards my future degree.

Nothing wrong with the skilled trades. But, I just think white-collar professions pay more, and you're not out doing menial labor work for very little money.

It's not for me, to be honest.

If you are reading my profile. Ideally, I'm want to maybe share accommodation with other people to half the costs, etc.

I would go to university and get a job over a cheap risky alternative with an unknown doctor. Im going to uni this year and reckon i could get the surgery in the next 5-10 years hopefully.

That's good! I'm at medical school, and I'm planing to do it after around 8-10 years after graduation too. It's better than risk yourself with cheap alternatives

No, at my 30s, max 32. I entered the medical school at 17, and I will grad at 23. It's a 6 years universiry here, and we are allowed to work right after graduation and also during medical residency!

32 is too late. all already have families at 32. so you are left out already. need to do it until 25
