Writing for a friend, who did LON tibia:

Anyone ever got a hard knot round screw sites a few weeks a few months after frame removal.   I contacted the doctor, they just said it’s OK and to put ice on it and it’ll go away but wondering how long it went away and anyone else’s case I got a scan done, no infection and the screws are still place, there’s information and knot around them.

Think I was too rough while going downstairs a few times.

i dunno but i notice bumps around the lengthening site on both ends. not sure why the bone itself has bumps but it does maybe thats what u are feeling. bumps as in like a healing thing it does not an infection type.

I dun think you need to worry too much if XRAY and Scan are normal.
It may be veins that bulge due to poor or slow blood circulation.

You can try to the following:
1. Elevating legs above the heart, with gravity helping to improve circulation.
2. Regular exercise, to help legs release fluid.
3. Reducing salt in the diet.
4. Maintain healthy weight.
5. Compression stockings.
6. Regular heat massage

Hope it improves.
Good luck!
