I am planning my surgery outside of US (still working on visa), and I got X-ray done today and I am in great fear after seeing the result of X-ray, I had got X-ray for tibia as well as femur and the femur X-ray says 'osteoarthritis noted on both hip joints' (tibia X-ray no note, all good) - I am wondering what that means, I don't have any hip problem/pain, only 2 weeks back I had hurt a muscle on right hip while doing stretching (for LL) , that's it, and I am recovering form that, but other than that I have never experienced any problem I am 35, healthy, not fat - so how can I have osteoarthritis ?! also, does it mean I cannot do LL? my whole LL plan has gone out of the window now and this osteoarthritis thing is on top of my mind now, what should I do? Note: I have not sent the result to Dr. yet because I am thinking if I really have osteoarthritis then should I check with the US surgeons if this osteoarthritis along with LL can be resolved with my US medical insurance? because I have only like $80k saved for LL and I do not have enough money to spend osteoarthritis and LL together from pocket without insurance paying some of it. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi, just speak to your doctor. Good luck

with whom are you doing the surgery?
-
Yes, I think that is the best option, I have sent him the X-rays, lets see that they say.

I did some research and it seems it may not be as big an issue , originally I was freaked out, now am a little calmer.

Can you attach your xray?

It has my name on it, if I can somehow remove it then I will attach
