Title: Budget of $17,000?
Post by: taieruya on May 11, 2017, 07:23:21 PM
Is it possible to do limb lengthening with someone like Mitkovic at this price? That would include my accommodation and meals. Starting to get a little nervous I can't afford it.

Yes, accommodation in Serbia is cheap.

I guess basically I'm just more worried about the fact that I won't be able to do it possibly until 2020. Hopefully prices stay stable and the USD doesn't dip.

If your doing externals you should be okay.  Many say they can find apartments for less than 500 euros a month and including other expenses.

Which doctor? And for me it has to include accommodation, meals etc. It really does look like $17,000 is going to be my total budget.

Pili or catagni, I think if you live in Europe they Will ley you go home, so no accommodation costs, I would really recommend them, all their patients here And in the old fórum have had good outcomes and the experience is almost painless, as the fixator they use is made of carbon fiber And doesnt move like traditional Ilizarov, which makes It more painful

That sounds like a really good deal. Unfortunately I'm from the States, so I'd probably have to stay.  :(

The whole process is like 6 month, so quite long and you want to stay in the city near the doctor ? That's my plan too
but I don't really know how much it could be, in Milan I guess it could be quite expensive but I heard that Catagni or Pili can help you to find one.
So I really advice you to mail him, it's like 20 000 but really, you should mail him

I am pretty sure you can return to usa in two weeks, but you should send x-rays to him. You can do physiotheraphy on your own.

For my budget I've really been looking at Mitkovic or Solomin, but I spoke to another user that said he spent about $20,000 in total with Mitkovic. It's not possible for me to spend that kind of money. What do you guys think about those two doctors with that budget?

If you are looking for pure externals, both of those are good, but Russia is  Cheaper for the surgery.

Yeah external tibia is my goal. So $17,000 in the next three or so years sounds reasonable?
