Yeah 14 cm looks very disproportional, I think 5.5 cm for femurs and 4.5 cm for tibias would be better, thats 10 cm in total

What is your argument? Are you saying it's impossible to increase pain threshold since there are studies that show you can.
You can do stretching and exercises to improve your flexibility.
It will help your muscles soreness and stiffness during the lengthening phase.

There is no such thing or exercises to increase the pain threshold.
It is all in your mind, you should learn to mediate for peaceful mind and strength during the difficult times.

Pain is always there, take painkillers as what the doctor told you to do.
Be positive and stop complaining cos noone force you to do LL.

Honestly on the new Website it just says about pricing: The costs will vary depending on which operation you wish to have and how long you wish to extend your stay in the clinic for. Ideally you would call us or write to us. We would then be able to provide you with an approximate framework of costs.

The price is quoted is the package - nails & operation, medication, PT and two weeks hospital and Rehab Stay.
After that, it is all depended on yourself how long and where you want to stay longer.

You rent a place outside to pay for rent and food by yourself.
PT, medication, XRAY and doctor consultation are free if you are in Freiburg.

You can write to Becker Betz institute and get the help in house rental.
I am sure they can get someone help you to find a place to stay.

P.S. If I risk with LON femurs with my first LL, I might settle for 5 cm for less risks and better recovery. In that scenario I will go and get 4 cm tibia in about 6 months after femur surgery for a total of 9 cm height increase.

Do you think that I'll be ready for tibia after 6 months of 5 cm LON femur? In theory for 5 cm femurs it should consolidate at 6 months mark post-op to a point where I won't need crutches to walk. Am I right?

7 + 7  is overkill in terms of proportions and recovery. Your arms look very short with 14 cm total.

Tibia looks very bad and even if you do just 4-5 cm, it will still look bad nevertheless.

Femur looks good for first LL and IMO you won't need to do tibia later if you don't exceed 6.5 cm in femurs.

My honest recommendation based on your proportions is to do femurs for about 6.5 cm max (not full 7 cm) for better proportions and recovery. Anything past 6.5 cm on femurs increase complications and recovery time exponentially.

IMO, just do 5 cm on femurs and call it a day. You'll recover much faster and have decent height of 181 cm with much better proportions.

Based on my calculations, I need to lengthen 15% of my original bone lengths so for ~43 cm femur it's about 6.5 cm and for ~35 cm tibia it's about 5.2 cm.

Which segment would look better until I do the other segment? I know that tibia is cheap and 5.2 cm can be done without much troubles but I'm concerned it will look weird with boots and pants till I do the femurs. My lower legs will be very long relative to my thighs but it won't be the same for 6.5 cm femurs as I'll be able to wear 2 inch boots with long pants and look very proportionate + additional 3 cm taller (relativistic boost to 2 cm shoes most males wear). So, 9.5 cm taller in total if I lengthen my femurs for 6.5 cm and wear 5 cm boots.

It's not only about standing 9.5 cm taller with boots if I lengthen 6.5 cm femurs first, it's about looking proportionate from waist to ankle when wearing long pants with boots and with tibia even if I lengthen just 3 cm, I will look bad with boots and pants. Another benefit for doing femurs first is better biomechanics, especially when wearing 2 inch boots. Stride will increase with 6.5 cm femurs while if I do 5.2 cm tibia first, my stride will remain the same and my walk will look odd.

Yet another issue with tibia first is that it won't look good with short femurs and I won't look tall contrary to popular belief that doing tibia for 5-6 cm will make someone appear taller. It's only true if someone had relatively short tibia to his femur pre-LL and post LL tibia-femur ratio is less than 0.90. In my case, my post LL tibia-femur ratio if I lengthen 5.2 cm tibia will become 0.93 and I will look like short man on stilts. If I do 6.5 cm femurs first, IMO, I will look much harmonious from waist to ankle and much taller and natural. BTW, I have made mock-ups for 5.5 and 6.5 cm tibia lengthenings with pants and boots and even though my shirt is tucked in, I look like short man on stilts even in 5.5 cm mockup.

Another issue is that I can afford fully external tibia in about 1-2 years but I won't be able to afford PRECICE or other internal nails for femurs for many years, only LON femurs in about 2-3 years from now.

I know that LON femur is not recommended here and it's not in my wishlist either but I want to pull the trigger in about 2-3 years from now max as I can't wait any longer for PRECICE.

How is the recovery for 6.5 cm for LON femur?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi, I will follow your dairy from now on very closely as I am considering Dr. Köhne as well. I am from Germany. Also thinking about lengthening a similar amount.

How many months did Dr. Köhne estimated until one leg is fully consolidated and you can start lengthen the other one?

Did he mentioned how much of your athletic ability you will be able to recover based on your stats?

Here is my mockup photo +7 cm for tibias, +7 cm for femurs and both +14 cm.
I think 7 cm for femurs is ok but 7 cm for tibias looks too long and 5 cm will be ok.
my current height is 176 cm and wingspan is 178 cm.

Here is mockup photo on google driver link >  https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aJVOmdwlBkHeaM_jrBvao5qSN7c4QCQD/view?usp=drive_link
