Depends on a type of lengthening device used. As far as i know external frames can correct any deformity "on the go" but im not sure about internal nail.

And there is tons of reasons for example:
-Lengthening ridicilous amounts
-Nail bending
-Pure bad luck

If the doctor is skilled and responsible he will probably correct it in some way. There are always some complications.

I am a LL patient who started my journey in India and now I am continuing it in the States.  I did LON and had nails locked, but now it seems like I have bad club foot.  I was wondering why and how this could be possible.
