So I have got like really skinny calves, mainly because I have done nothing this summer, they are like a females calves :-[
And I was wondering what effects can this have in the LL process? Can I distract more easily without pain or it is needed to have strong calves to survive the process? I am planning just 6 cm, probably end up with five.
Plus, I can't damage my muscles if they aren't there, right? Just kidding, George Costanza moment ;D

Some surgeons have told me that more muscle in the calves gives better blood flow to the area and will help with healing. Then again, from my experience and from what I've been told by others, having thicker calves makes distraction hurt a lot more than if you were to have skinny calves.

Agree, anyway I think having low body fat and just a bit muscualr and good streched calves is always the best.Planing on 5-6cm too

You'll lose most of the muscle anyway, unless you go with Guichet, you'll probably end up mostly bed ridden during distraction.
