Title: weight training and its effect on bone fractur.
Post by: ForcedPuberty on January 19, 2015, 08:00:27 PM
ok I know that weight training increases bone density and diameter.

however that is for the actual bone receiving stimulation.

what happens if the weight training is done on upper body, does the body release hormones that will increase bone density for the whole body or is bone stimulation localized?

are their any studies showing universal bone density for a person exercising other areas of the body?

No part of your body is inactive during training.

Squatting will increase the bone density in your legs, bench presses increase that of your upper body, etc.

if i recall correctly, GH and testosterones are released after strength training so it might help.

I've pretty good callus maybe cause I was pretty active (despite the NSAIDs). but fibula is non-existent... sigh
