Title: Lengthening
Post by: Thespartan on January 22, 2015, 10:14:54 PM
Will it be possible in 10 or 20 years to increase the length of every bone in the limbs (hands, fingers, lower arms, feet) I dunno everything not the torso or the spine or the head but the limbs.

All of the bones in the limb can be lengthened already and are often lengthened for people with terrible injuries or deformities. You could probably find some doctor somewhere who will ignore your safety and lengthen those for you as well. The thing is many doctors would be against lengthening your forearms or feet for cosmetic reasons as it would just leave you with multiple problems or are unnecessarily complex to justify doing them cosmetically.

like in safety, doing forearms for example with safety and without the risk that currents it has.

Most likely. They've already released therapies in Russia for stature lengthening by stem cells, so I doubt similiar therapies for other bones are that far behind.

We do live in the glorious Information Age, after all.
