Hello everyone, so here is my situation. I'm pretty active when it comes to weight training and I also go to the pool about 3 times a week but my flexibility is about average. I plan to have surgery with Dr. Barinov in about 7-8 months from now. I was wondering, should I stop doing leg exercises and just do upper body workouts? I do plan to stretch daily 3 times a day so i can better prepare myself for LL. If its not much to ask as well, how soon should i let the clinic know that I plan to get Limb Lengthening.
here is a quote from Centre of Anthropometrical Cosmetology
"From my experience I can say that those who have well-trained strong muscles grow harder, their muscles are very rigid. That's why we recommend our patients to stop running and start stretching exercises before doing the surgery. "

from my personal experience muscles are not good for leg lengthening. specifically muscles that are capable of lifting a lot of weight. they resist leg lengthening like a mutherfker.

What doctor did you do LL with? Would you recommend your doctor?

I would imagine so, I've been on the fence about stopping leg exercises . I don't have a big build (small calves muscles/forearms) but i am pretty cut all around. I do want to put a lot more muscle on my legs so i can look better all around but it's looking like it will have to wait. Going to focus more on flexibility.

Dr. Guichet actually says the opposite.

I will be doing external tibias so maybe for femurs it's a lot better to have muscles on the legs.
