Title: Considering adding 4 inches (10 cm) to height
Post by: Shane_19@hotmail.ca on March 02, 2015, 05:22:44 PM: Hey guys, I'll make this short (no pun intended). I am 5'9 and my wingspan is 5'9, could I possibly do 4 more inches without looking dissportionate?

You will look disproportionate, -4 inch ape index would look off, especially since there are guys who are 6' 1" with a +4 inch ape index.

Look at Rocky Marciano. 71" tall with 68" reach, and his arms looked pretty short.

-1 inch wouldn't be noticeable, and I'd say -2 inches is within the range of normal, but any more is pushing it.

I'm also 69" with a 70" wingspan

Because people on forums are overly nice because they are often in the same position of having
a short wingspan. IRL people notice when you have short arms.

Post by: Shane_19@hotmail.ca on March 06, 2015, 04:55:27 PM: I made a mistake on my wingspan since I was trying to measure it myself. It's actually 6'0 son lengthwning up to 6'0 tall would make have a 1:1 ratio which should look okay I guess.

However, if you are set on 10 cm, I think Dr. Guichet is going to be the best choice.
