Title: Time for ability to climb stairs after begin to walk
Post by: Morpheus34 on March 07, 2015, 07:24:37 PM
Hi guys

How long did it take for you to be able to climb stairs (unaided) after you begin to walk?

I still have some Ballerina (left about 1.5- 2cm, right foot 0.5-1 cm): how much dorsiflexion do you needed? Is it possible if one foot has dorsiflexion and the other not? (Maybe bad style)

Thank you for your advice.

Greetings Morpheus

I don't remember how long it took me to be able to climb stairs, but I'm sure you'll soon find out that climbing up stairs and going down stairs are two different things.  It'll be much easier/faster to get up than to go back down.

Hello Medium Drink of Water

Thx for reply, I can imagine a little the difference; even with crutches, climbing stairs is much easier than downstairs. It's a litlle like climbing a mountain; up is easier than down.
