Wanted to know if people have any bone aches after the surgeries. Some people say that once you broke your bone, you will have the pain for the rest of your life. I know my daughter broke her hand when she was 8 and we have even forgotten about it. Maybe with age?

ull get all sorts of aches after the surgery.. sometimes it might be around the ankles then it will go away and then an ache will appear somewhere else.. its just normal.. but as it lasting forever, if the surgery has been performed without affecting any nerves etc it wont be permanent.. i still get small aches after ive walked and im 4.5 months in.. but with time these things will disappear completely as it is a controlled break not a trauma from an injury..

I used to get muscle aches when bending my knees toward me from a lying down position, but that's stopped. The only muscle aches I get now are at the top of my legs when sitting with my legs crossed, but they go away after moving my legs around a little bit. I suspect those will go away over time.
