Title: Lengthening at Home?

Is it safe to Lengthen at home if someone is doing externals (LON/LATN)? what are the complications one might face while distracting at home?

My lengthening was done at home but I had control visits every 1-2 weeks(4 hours drive in one way). If you are doing it abroad then going home is impossible.

 Complications? Anything can happen during LL, you can fell and break your new bone, you can damage frame, you can break pin/pins. LL is tough, exhausting job so unless somebody will be there to help you to go for Docs visits it's safer to stay in hospital.
