We all know LL has varying levels of pain. It's not as bad sometimes, and sometimes it sucks. But try to find an average number for your pain. For example, if you felt a rating of a near-painless 2/10 for half the journey and a serious 8/10 for the other half, rate the average as 5/10.
Do not answer this poll until you're done with your experience and are at least walking without support.
Could this be stickied? I figured it's a good way for people to know what they're getting into.

Most of the time it was not painful and I had ilizarov frames around my legs.

I got a lot of pain in my knees, ankles, and feet when I moved or walked. As long as I lay still, though, the pain wasn't so bad.

Holy . Three people rated the overall pain as 7-10.
I hope it's lower for me with internal nails.

It was one hell of a nightmare during lenghtening phase so I would rate it 8/9 out of 10. But as soon as lenghtening is over its like u wake up from a really bad night mare to start your new day.
