Title: Tibia frames
Post by: Want More on September 19, 2015, 06:48:22 PM: What do you think guys whic is best external device?I mean light and small. For me dr Mitkovic and dr Bagirov fixator look the best.
Do you know any better?

This means that they control less the bone segments.
This can bring to deformities more easy than with a stronger frame.
If you have a must for hiding your frames maybe they are a good option, but you have to run the risk of developing a deformity.
Hybrid frames (with pins and little wires) are the most stable thought a bit larger.
They can also be hidden under some larger trousers.

Post by: Overdozer on January 24, 2016, 06:01:56 PM: I had TSF frame, they use it in St. Petersburg, at least Dr. Kulesh does, not sure about Solomin. It's usually installed at the end of the lengthening when/if there's a need to correct a misalignment.

Like I said, they're installed at the end of the lengthening process if there's a need to correct a misalignment. Usually everything goes fine without them, they're used only for difficult misalignments.
