No...you probably didn't end up doing anything to yourself...think logically dude..don't be stupid here..your parents are  in the 160 cms...you not only passed them you now tower them. What possible gives you the idea you did anything to yourself? You reached your potential no doubt.

Do yourself a favor, forget LL move on with your life as best you can. Don't hand around this forum; you'll just torment yourself further. Work on your confidence. It's all in your head. I'm 100% certain you aren't getting LL ever.

Stopped bloody young. I was always fairly short but by no means the shortest (maybe bottom 20%), then when I was around 14/15 I just didn't grow any-more and slowly watched those around my height shoot on up.

Still taller than my parents though.

I grew throughout college.  My buddy and I went into college from the same high school at 5'8 (me) and 5'9.  Neither of us shaved as freshmen and we both weighted about 140 lbs.  We came out 5'10 and 6'1, each having gained 30-40 lbs, mostly muscle.

I stopped at around 13-14. I hit 5' when I was 8 thanks to what we all assumed were good genes and a lot of exercise (swimming, basketball, baseball, and soccer). They didn't want me to play Little League because I was so much bigger (taller and more muscular) than the other kids. Other kids looked up to me, both figuratively and literally. I was happy. And we all thought I was going to be tall, like my father, who is 6'4" and comes from a family of all tall people.

I got up to 5'8" during puberty, and then things started happening in my life that screwed me up. I lost most of the people I cared about, and I ended up hurting my foot badly. So I sat in front of a computer for 6-7 hours after school posting on message boards like this, not eating or sleeping enough. Not doing anything to boost HGH and testosterone means I really stopped growing then, and now I just look like an old kid. I'm a completely different person on the inside.

I know I messed up in life. It's funny that you don't think about how things will turn out when you're young and stop applying yourself. It's only until you're almost 30 that you begin to realize how much you wasted. I'm not thinking about getting limb lengthening anymore after reading some posts on here about how painful and costly it is. I know that an extra few inches won't help me make peace with myself. I've always been alone, the only family I have is my mom and she won't be here much longer; I genuinely appreciate all of you for all the support you give here.

Dou you think that birth size affects adult height? Beacuse if it is true, sometimes people grow a lot taller than their parent becuase the have other genes from their genotype, and when we they are borned they are big because of this and the height is not determined only by them.www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10206622

Gestational diabetes is sometimes the cause of very big babies. but if that is not the case there are good probabilities.

You were a big guy.  Gestacional diabetes disappear after the labour; and the mom-child can be healthy. This kind of diabetes is different form the others, because dissapear(is thought that being pregnant affects the regulation of insulin ). Or the other option is that birth height is a false indicator, is difficult to understand all this.
