Title: X ray , referral and cost in canada
Post by: hyong on February 26, 2016, 08:34:47 AM
I was wondering, any Canadians around perhaps could give their 2 cents,

because i live in Canada, mine health care is "provided" and "regulated" by the government, usually how would clinics react to referrals requested by foreign doctors?
is it still covered under the health insurance?

and say, if i am discovered that i did LL, would it not be something that i 'brought upon" mineself ? , and the request to get one may be rejected?
and if complications do arise, would i be treated ? since i "brought upon" this mine self, make sense? idk. sorry for mine blabbering just concerned about it.

Interesting question. I'm from the UK and obviously we have the same deal healthcare wise. Only thing I was really able to find was:

Presuming it would be similar in Canada? Don't quote me on it though!
