Title: Will I be able to go back to work right away after frames are removed?

I understand that the recovery process for 6cm external takes 6 to 12 months. In your experience, how many months before the frames get removed? Would I be able to go home after they get removed right away?

I could probably go back to work with crutches on, I would just tell other people I had a sports injury.

Also, if I every consider having an internal limb lengthening, would I be able to go back to work faster? How many months?
