Title: Get ready for some more possible exposure

So this was posted just yesterday and already has 100K+ views, and I'm sure it will receive more throughout the years. Yet, I doubt even that will cause a massive spike in traffic here, as it's just come and go.

The video isn't anything special. It's pretty neutral and just teaches the bare basics of LL; although in truth it doesn't really provide much more information than what most of us already know. In fact it doesn't even talk about all the different options like internal vs external. (Honestly, not worth viewing)

I thought that no scientific studies about long term effects of LL existed.

I hate how this guy says "only a few inches" when those few inches can change a LIFE.

You need to realise that a lot of those cases were from people who had done 3 inches in one bone.
We are more aware and conservative now a lot of the people here do less than 6cm on their femurs and a max of 4cm on tibias.

that kinda scared me.%70 have major complications he said..

He said 77% experience complications, and 70% of that number(54% in total) experience leg misalignment, hardening of joints, psychological problems.
You can be sure they chose to mention these issues as they sound sensational to the LL layman, the majority of the other complications were more than likely minor pin site infections, muscle spams, etc.
In any case, leg alignment is fixed instantly with externals and occurs less frequently (but can still be fixed) with internals. We can attribute the psychological issues to the WTF moment many of us have post surgery and/or bouts of depression/boredom while disabled for several months. As far as hardening of the joints, I've never actually heard of this occurring in any of the diaries posted, unless of course the study is referring to the stiffness during the earlier stages of recovery.

-Of course serious complications can occur, but let's keep things in context.
