Title: Proportions for a 6-7 cm femoral lengthening?

Enjoy the pic xx

It seems like my height is a bit less than I thought it was- about 173 morning and 172.5 evening. Let's round up to 5'8. :P

My wingspan is a bit longer. About 177.5 cm.

If I lengthen 5 cm I'll be as tall as my wingspan. If I lengthen 6 or up to 7.5 I'll only go about an inch over it. I'd quite like to get to 179-180 cm but it's obviously not necessary. I don't want to get greedy and lengthen too much either.

The downside is I already have quite long legs, 82-83 cm inseam right down from the tip of my groin to the floor. But I think they're not too long, I can pull off even 7.5 cm quite comfortably with those I think.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I'll upload another pic and see if it works.

It misses out the top couple of inches of my head but that's about as good as I could get it.

I appreciate that you are being sensible in the length you are considering. I agree, you do have long legs but they appear to be well balanced proportionally between your tibia and femur, meaning I would agree in your choice of femoral lengthening.

Let's figure out your figures for lengthening.

Your current inseam is approximately 48% of your total height. (83/173)

With 6CM on your femurs, your inseam would be approximately 49.7% of your total height. (89/179)

I would not recommend lengthening anymore which would result in going above 50%. Please consider doing the more conservative 6CM on femurs for safety and proportions.

Thanks. I was most likely considering 5-6.5 cm anyway.

Lol, why was I not blessed with the stubby legs...

Yeah man I'm pretty sure it is, I just measured it against the wall at 131 cm!

I'm sitting on a chair, legs pretty much at right angles, straight up. Am I doing it right?

Well you are blessed with being naturally 5'8 not 5'5 so we are even.
