Title: How readily available is human growth hormone injections?
Post by: hanyul_ on September 08, 2017, 08:11:52 AM
I am 21, female, around 5'3 and would love to be a bit taller. If I ask my GP about this, is it readily available or only to pre adolescent children who have stunted growth?

I am 21
You are 10 years late. Even if you were 11 you wouldn't get HGH prescription as you are not short enough.

Female growth plates usually seal around age 16, and HGH has to be given from an early age (around age 11-12) and given consistently to have an effect.

Your GP won't prescribe you HGH as it won't make you grow in height.

You are too late for it

Gps typically don't prescribe it due to its high costs and when they do prescribe it it's typically given in dosages that will make little to no difference anyway.

5-3 isn't bad for a female in any part of the world. Get on with your life
