I have already decided that I want to lenghten my femurs by 8cm. Honestly I am little torn between 6.5 and 7 cm. for my tibias. I will most likely have my tibias lenghtened in about 2-3 years, so I have a lot of time to think about it. I would like to be able to run normally, that is why I decided I would like to do the PRECICE method. What is your opinions? Starting height-170-171 cm (5'7)

Be realistic and concentrate on lengthen your femurs first before worrying about tibias. 8 cm on the femurs and 7 cm on tibias is generally considered on the extreme side of lengthening. Yet alone 8 surgeries surgeries involving insertion and removal of nails with extreme amounts of trauma. Not counting any additional surgeries such release surgeries and any other procedures arising from complications. All the best with trying to run properly with all these...

How much do you think it is enough for femurs?

For lengthening, stay within 15-20% of your initial bone length. Any more and you'll have increased risk of complications.

What is your opinions?
You seem (as it appears to me) to have done very little research on CLL as of yet.
That's a huge amount of lengthening you want done. The theoretical max limit of Precice, and over 5cm in the tibias.
Why that much?

i wouldnt recommend over 5 cm external tibias
and over 6.5-7 cm for femurs

Always wanted to be 6 footer but I guess that won't be the case with me. Now that I look at it 8 cm is too much for my femurs I think 7 cm will be excellent. Not sure about my tibias. I really want to lengthen them at least 6.5 cm. It just doesn't sounds worth to me the time and money I will give for 5 cm. Anyway I am thankful for you guys about the advices you give, it really shows you want to tell me what is best for me.

Paley on tibias and cms. Most certainly the most experienced CLL doctor.
"Don't go over 5cm" (in tibias) - Sweden, LL veteran, in multiple threads.
I see no reason to not heed this advice, specially if you don't get a measurement of your bones.

if you do 7 cm femurs and 5 cm tibias and you are 171 cm currently..then you would be 183 cm after both ll surgeries.
183 cm is basically 6 feet and 0.5 inches...
