Armenia isn’t really a first world country like Greece or usa or some of Europe. Pricing is great though, I inquired couple weeks ago it was like 37-42k with everything included except nail removal
I’m really considering it but there was some bad cases there, however that guys case looked prettt good outcome

Yes, there were some bad cases in Armenia.

This is other Japanese patient blog (not English).
He underwent cross-lengthening surgery in Armenia, and severe deformities remained.
He said there were other Japanese patients who had trouble in Armenia.
I think the youtube Japanese patient is rare case.
I heard that there was a patient who succeeded in the 16 cm lengthening, but the surgery in Armenia is too risky.

Cross lengthening... with external femur... in Armenia...
Seems like a good plan to me.

Hi wannagrowtaller
As far as I know, external femurs are extremely painful and have much higher risk of complication. Think about it, if you have a huge frame in your thigh and you have to do PT, move, lengthening, cleaning, and sleeping everyday with that frame. External tibias are already hard enough but external femurs are much harder. So please think more carefully and get more information about external femurs if you really want it.
-
I was being sarcastic.
-
Guys please don't go for external cross lengthening, it's hell, I had external tibia and femur on one leg (non-cosmetic) and trust me if I had choice again I would go only for Stryde femur, may be external tibia but with good doctor in good standard country. Don't go to countries like Armenia or India or idk. Most important is your health not few cm.

Probably will end up doing stryde on femurs lol

top countries should ban their citizens from going to such countries.

This leg bent like a banana tells us a lot
No one should go to Armenia for the cheapness
What you can loose is enormous for the money saving
They even had mistakes with blood transfusion
It is a life threatening procedure
Please respect yourself and don’t rush into traps of CLL marketing
-
fk, that leg is really bent

What was his original height?

What was his original height?
I don't know he is Asian so I think in between 5.4 feet and 5.5 feet.
-
5.6

How does a leg get bent that badly, like did he just keep lengthening even though it’s super noticeable. Did it get super misaligned and they never corrected it and just took his frames off and then let him consolidate. Seriously how does that even happen.
-
Upon frame removal the doctor bent tibia!!!
Armenian CLL doctors they really don’t know what they are doing
Doctors themselves keep saying “no doctors are perfect”
They really should be banned not just as orthopedists but as physicians

They doesn’t really make sense
If the bone is consolidated how can the tibia bend after frame removal
Even if it was lon wouldnt really make sense

This is a life decision, not only your money is non refundable, but also the surgery.
I’d rather go for more for a great doctor that has the latest tech than paying half for a doctor that provides 50% success rate.
Come on people!
Most decisions are made via emotion. But life surgeries like this needs emotion and logic because you can’t reverse things when there’s complications!

This tibia is similar to some Monegal cases. They did half the amount and internal but they had tibia deformed like Cooper, Yagen and others
-
This dude's doctor actually trained under Dr. Ilizarov himself. He's definitely good. I wonder what's the purpose of cross lengthening vs. doing tibias then doing femurs. Why do we need cross lengthening now- is it because there were externals back then?

What the.. in the video the patient went to a hot spring (onsen) while having the external fixator on his legs. How in the world did he not get an infection from that. Or am I missing something.. do hot springs have some special antibacterial property I am not aware of?
