Title: Questions for people who got their internal rods removed
Post by: CodyTheDog on October 27, 2019, 08:30:19 PM
1. From the time of getting your rods removed, until after, how long did it take you for you to recover?

2. Did you need to book a hotel or something nearby for a day or two while you recovered from the rod removal? Did you need a caretaker?

3. What other logistic considerations would you think about when going for internal rod removal surgery?

I had a family member to help out and booked a nearby hotel for a couple days. First 48 hours were rough for me so I was glad I did that. I think after 3 days I was feeling ok and great by a week later. Good luck with everything.

Were you walking normally again after 1 week? (or walking like before doing this removal surgery)

I'd been walking normally and jogging and skiing and whatever for half a year before did removal. Yes, I was walking normally again 1 week post rod removal.
