If I am this flexible:

Will lengthening be less painful for me? There can be lots of pains for other reasons like the trauma of the surgery itself. but does anyone know of any patients who were this flexible and how different the process was for them compared to others?

Yes.  Flexibility going into the surgery makes a big difference.  In fact, part of the reason I did tibias was that my calves were very flexible while I'd always had tight hamstrings.  I'm not sure I could've gotten away with 3 inches on tibias if not for that.

Sorry to bump this, but I am working extremely hard on stretching and might reach close to this flexibility in a few months. Is there any other position I should try to master?

In addition to this I have been doing pigeon pose
