Hello,
This is my first LL post, so pard me for any wrong information. I've been interested in LL for about two years now. I am 5"7, however, I would like to do this surgery so I can increase my height to 5"10 and feel better about myself. I want to be able to see myself in the best image I could have and challenge the thing I couldn't control: genetics.. I did a lot of research, and I found out the best place to do it in terms of safety / cost (surgery + living) would be Turkey - I am aware that it is not 100% safe much like anything in this life. In Turkey, living costis around 500 - 600 dollar a month , while being in Rihab for six months of post-surgery, I think this is a reasonable living cost.
The surgery (LON) is around 17-20.000 euro at the time of writing this post. Then, there is the cost for post-treatement / therapy and risk management which remains unknown to me, and this is why I am writing this post.
My question is for people who did LL in turkey or do have valid witnessing.
- How was the experience in Turkey in terms of Doctor treatement / Feedback / helpfullness?
- How many cm have you gained in two months?
- What were the difficulties and especially, how much did the surgery cost you in overall during the whole process?
- How did the doctor prevented any of the problems such as premature consolidation, inflammation, bones distractions
- Finally, is the pain manageable enough to be able to do a cognitive effort such as programming for six hours a day to make money while being in treatment?
