Planning on lengthening 14 cm , 31 male 173cm 93kg
I feel that I have short legs because I had untreated teenage hypothyroidism.
I am planning 8cm on femurs and 7 cms on tibs
How are my proportions?
Your thoughts feedback and ideas are appreciated.

Need straight-on pictures to know. The camera needs to be at waist-level.

If where you had the camera before was 100% too high, you're at about 60% too high now.

To my untrained eyes you look like you have short femurs :D
-
Are you sure? you don't look 5'8 at all. more like 5'6

You’ll certainly look fine after any large amount of lengthening, IMO. I wouldn’t even worry about proportions, you’ll look great with longer legs. If you go as much as 14cm though then wingspan might be an issue. Just start with 8cm femurs, you’ll probably be happy with that

nobody cares about wingspan in relation to leg length ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5990728/ ) -, ur torso to arm length is what determines the TRex look.

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to comment on the thread.
I'm definitely 5'8/173cm... been measured as such by many different medical staff and myself while in a hospital.
What I've gleamed from this is that I definitely have short femurs and legs compared to my torso.
Thank you all for taking the time to comment in the thread, I can't stress enough how positive input and opinions like this reinforce my motivation.

If you had teenage hypothyroidism than maybe you can recover your athletism more because dwarfs can lentheng a lot more because their soft tissue is better for LL.
It depends in how much it has affected your leg/arm lenghth. So i wouldn´t lengthen more than you would have had if you never had that disease. Mention this to your surgeon

You look good. Your legs are very muscular, so you can pull off that long-legged look quite well after LL. I wouldn’t worry unless you’re planning to do 6+ inches.

If this is true, then then that’s great news, because I had precocious puberty that stunted my growth. That means I can probably hit my 6 inch goal.

I believe it is not the same thing

I’d have to do research, but I’m guessing they’re similar.
