I read an anthropologic guide that addresses if you keep on hanging for 4-5 min on a daily basis,you will obtain several cms for a
lifetime.
3 yrs ago one of my friends anecdotely told me that he increased his discal intervals manifested by X-rays and he obtained 5cms growth for a lifetime,which knocked his radiologist's socks off.It's pity that by then,I didn't archive his X-rays in my mobile phone.
So I'm working on this as well.I purchased a pair of gloves to avoid sliding down and bruise while hanging on the bar and I hope to render into th same situations as my friend's.

I think it helps when one is still growing. It also helps you gain an inch or two of height if you do it for months. It basically just resets your spinal cord to its original position, so you appear taller. However you have to do it for a while to make it happen. Because if you stop doing it, your spinal cord will become not as straight as it should be due to prolong activities on a daily basis.

Just wanna add one more thing. Michael Jordan was 170 cm tall when he started playing basketball. He grew to 190 cm in one summer because he did hanging on a bar or stick 40 minutes a day.

I think it helps when one is still growing. It also helps you gain an inch or two of height if you do it for months. It basically just resets your spinal cord to its original position, so you appear taller. However you have to do it for a while to make it happen. Because if you stop doing it, your spinal cord will become not as straight as it should be due to prolong activities on a daily basis.
Maybe hanging will support bended patients' growths but my posture is perfect.
On the other hand,my friend's X-ray manifested that his discal intervals were abnormally wide due to hanging for a long long period.

Hanging also improves your immune system and respiratory system. It's a good exercise.

You have posted this a few weeks ago. Why are you repeating yourself? Obviously hanging does not improve your height permanently. What is this forum actually coming to?

It's 3 yrs ago so I can't find him back cuz I'm myself dying for his reclaims.I reckon widen discal intervals will increase spinal disease probabilities

Please tell me you are correct, all I need is 5cm. The problem is I can't even conduct to see if this is correct, I have no bar to hang on at home.

Do you live in America? Don't they sell portable pull up bar at Big 5 or Walmart? You can do it in your room.

Remember to take Glucosamine sulphate as well, this will help with disk rebuilding. Unless you have some bad scoliosis then no way you can get 5 cm from hanging, maybe you can get an extra 1 cm beyond your morning height.
if you hang by your arms you will tire way too early (5 min absolute max), a much better bet is to buy a pair of inversion boots (I have from Ebay) and you can easily build yourself up to 15 - 20 hanging time, in morning and then again at night.

I don't live in the US but I guess I can buy one at Kmart or Target, I just never looked into this. Do you really doing this for a few minutes day could increase my height by 5cm?

Don't do it for too long. A few minutes a day should be ok. Make sure you drink a lot of water because it helps soft bones I think.
