Guys I'm very new to this forum and the whole leg lengthening topic. I'm planning to go for one. I'm looking for full weight bearing options.
Also I can across the above link. Apparently with gnail they will lengthen 1cm during the surgery itself. Is this true and safe?

I got 1 cm in surgery and I'm perfectly fine.

Thank you for the respond 😊🙏🏻

So, that means all your tissues (except bone, which is cut and with their halves not in contact) including nerves, were stretched an entire 1 cm in a couple of hours?
Did the doctor explained you why this wasn't a medical or risky problem previously? (If we were joking I would remind that there were medieval torture devices that did the same).
I don't understand the process, especially if (hopefully) you were not in excruciating pain after surgery and anesthesia and also after painkillers effect fade away...

If I'm not wrong, all other doctors create a 0.25cm or 0.5cm distraction during the surgery. I don't think 1cm will do much damage 🤷🏻♀️. But it'll cut down the lengthening period by a week or so.

I did lengthening with Dr Guichet with Gnail, I also had 1 cm gap and in 3 months gained 96 mm. Finished clicking this August, now I am back to walking normally and taller than before.

If you don't mind, may I know when did you start walking without crutches? I would want to walk without any assistance as soon as possible 😅

Congratulations!
But you still exercise/ physiotherapy, of course, no ?
And you mean, you feel 100% functional without any pain or any signa/sensation of the surgery?
What about proportions? 10 cm in the femurs don't make your knees too close the ground for example in the beach (nude legs)?
