Considering CLL early next year, likely LON. Still deciding which segment, happy to get opinions on proportions.
I am 173cm, pic was taken at waist level so should be accurate. I compete in bjj, so I'm partial to longer tibia as it would not affect my base when working from knees. But I'm open to suggestions.

Can't do it without seeing the top of your head.

The mock-up? Oh ok, didn't realise. Try this one mate

Your femurs look a little short because they're so thick, even though they might not be objectively short (hard to tell). Proportionally you could get away with 8 cm on them.
But having thick muscles means a lot of resistance to lengthening and pain, and the more you lengthen that segment the worse it will get. The second picture is of 5 and 5 which will be much easier on your thighs.

Awesome mate, thanks for the advice.
So is the first pic 8cm on the femur and the second pic 5+5 on femur and tibia?
What I might do is maybe try to hit 6-7cm on the femur and if that isn't enough I can do 4cm on my tibia at a later date.

Yep, sounds like a good plan.

I think the bigger concern (more than proportions) with using LON on your femurs is that your legs are so thick and muscular. This will make LON more difficult, painful, and complicated, especially on your femurs.
-
Yeah, I'm not actually concerned with getting the soft tissue to comply as I'm highly flexible and should make 6-7cm comfortably. I am concerned about the ex fix going through my muscle tissue as I do have alot. I have stopped training legs for the last 12 months, and they have decreased in size alot. Will see how it goes.
I may opt for 5-6 cm LON on tibia and then do 4-5cm on femur when stryde returns. I might even be happy with 6cm on tibia, but after these mockups I must admit my femurs are stocky and look much nicer with the extra length.

Do you think my arms look long enough for that height? My wingspan is 181cm so it should work

I’m glad someone with some muscle is getting a mock-up. I Think they both look good, I think the 5+5 is actually a little better looking but it’s marginal. I think muscle helps tremendously when it comes to keeping an aesthetic look with long legs. I think it’s an improvement honestly on your current proportions, got those giga-chad legs!

Hahaha thank you bro, I might try for 6-7cm on femur and 3-4cm on tibia later.
Will get Giga Chad level shredded and report back for the homies haha.
I fully intend on getting back to high level BJJ competition and have no doubt in my mind I'll be back to winning competitions.
