There is one social phenomenon where people delude themselves into believing their choices and decisions were right after the process as they could not mentally bring themselves to accept that they made a wrong choice as there was a huge tradeoff associated. Do you think there is a possibility of it happening in diaries where the pros were overstated and cons were understated? A topic for discussion.

I guess this question depends on the severity. If a man's height hits around the average height or above, then your question can make sense otherwise I dunno why it could occur to you to make this weird question. The truth is that being short sucks and it's a major flaw irl, no matter you are reluctant to hear my words or not but that's why we are aiming for lengthening our legs.
I got misogyny(especially when it comes to Chinese girls), dual personality, anti-society personality, violence capability and remittent depression disorder all bc of my height. And I have been convinced that only LL can save my life or else i dunno how to keep my head up. i gotta follow the shorter crowds, I gotta swear about girls or my country online to vent my angers and envies, and I gotta run away from all occasions relevant to height(and my peers are acting like retards to believe our average height has grown up to 185cm+). I'm living an abnormal life.

If they get a permanent impairment then maybe. In that case they'll probably regret it more and more over time as it gets worse with age, probably long after they've moved on from their diary.
Being average is so wonderful once you've lived as a short man for so many years. The mental confidence boost you get is huge, and that's reinforced by how different people's reaction is to you. Going into a situation, you feel like you'll be taken seriously and have a chance to do well without being looked down upon literally, which always seems to translate into so many figurative ways.
You just lowered the difficulty level on the game of life; congratulations LL'er! So yeah, that part of it is absolutley real.
