Sorry I don't know what mock up means. Do you mean you are 181 and you want your final height to be 189?
Welcome to the forum!

I don't know if it's the angle problem. After viewing the picture you posted, I would say gain 4 cm would be the most ideal. 181 is very tall in France.

If I were you, max. 6-7cm Femur and thats it. Probably "only" 6cm, because no one would notice different between 187 or 188cm and risks start to increase after 5-6cm. Personally I thing best height for men is 184-186cm.

I think most people hardly notice difference between 185 or 190.

Maybe so, but also 185cm male looks often good even he is muscular or thin. But 190cm male need at least some muscles or might look lanky.

I think you re right . Actually I just noticed that my tibia is longer than 80% of my femur so I guess I m lucky : by increasing only the femur it will actually get my tibia to be 80% of my femur which is the golden tibia/femur ratio from what i read.
So i think I ll do 7 cm on my femur and that's it . Here s the mock up https://imgur.com/a/r3sfKyr . Not too long femur right ?

You seem to have quite long tibias and i personally thing adding that 7cm femur your legs look even better.
