Title: Walking semi normal estimates and CLL expenses
Post by: Megatron on July 18, 2022, 05:46:17 PM
1. Anyone know how long it’ll take to walk somewhat normal with the precise nail if you’re lengthening at a normal rate and don’t have to slow down?

2. What are expenses to consider when doing cll? For example:
Surgery: $60 k to 100 k
Hotel or rental home: $10 k to 20 k
Prescriptions if not covered by insurance: ??
Equipment necessary: wheelchair, shower chairs, etc…
Food estimate:for example,  5 month estimate $3 k

1. Normally around 3-4 months if you are lengthening the standard 6cm. Probably lot more if you are doing 8cm.

2. Mine was a femur precice package with PT/FU/X-ray, 90 days hospital stay, 3 meals a day, and other essentials for around 85k~ + 10~15k for extra stuff like food ( according to the hospital forum the food is kind of bland ), entertainment, travel fees, extra PT, and etc.
