I read that the most expensive houses are located in Bay Area, where people live and work in Silicon Valley, as of now.
Last century the most expensive areas should be in New York!?

I was shocked when reading this news
https://www.santacruzsentinel.com/2022/07/26/bay-area-home-prices-see-largest-may-to-june-drop-on-record/
But I don't think it will always be like that... price may change again...

put it this way .. I've moved back to a ghetto area to save any serious income despite earning $350K+. Alot of my neighbours are crackheads living in gov subsidised $M+ homes. Its $50K per year for a reasonable 2 bed in a tier 2 area.
It's madness what the banks and government have done to house prices.

There will always be things beyond our control. One good way to enjoy life after retirement is to have a house where one can do anything once retired. Saving money as much as possible and buy a good house is a method some people do.

I have watched another video that talks about price dropping in another country, New Zealand. Hopefully it happens in future more so houses become affordable.
