Only for those that have done/are doing femurs - my doc said 3-4 hours daily of manual stretching. I gotta be honest, I hate the idea of waking up daily and knowing I gotta stretch for HOURS. I read some people are going to a PT that stretches for them for an hour. Is that the same/better/worse than doing it yourself for many hours daily?

i don’t stretch at all but i have physiotherapy M-F for 1 h and i walk daily. i highly advise you to stretch daily and try to exercise . i’m just too lazy for starching on my own but i hope i’m getting into it soon.

I despise stretching. Its not as if its a walk in the park considering we have 2 broken legs… what does your pt include? And what will happen if you dont stretch but go to pt daily and walk?
Edit; just seen your posts about mobility and pain… perhaps this is what happens if you dont stretch

I stretch an hour minimum every day. It is part of my daily routine. Can't imagine not streching while and after LL. Stretching will help with tightness, pain and body adjusting with the height gain

I was doing PT right after surgery for 30 m daily , then doing weight added PT for 30-40 M daily .
went home after 2 months , doing PT at home 15-30M , with more reps but less time , my muscle strength is back to pre OP .
currently 1 month into consolidation .

An hour daily is enough :o
But I did all exercises only with physiotherapist from Paley European Institute.
